The year 2013 was marked by the strategic review of MEDZ’s activities. Aids to improvement with a high impact on its business model have been identified.

On the sidelines of the meeting of the Club of Long-Term Investors "LTIC" held in Madrid, February 14, 2014, M. Escolano Roman, President of the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO) and Mr. Anas Alami Houir, CEO of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion (CDG), signed a framework agreement for cooperation between the two institutions.

Mr. Anas Alami Houir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saidia Development Corcporation (SDS), a subsidiary of CDG Group, and Mr. Gabriel Escarrer, Chairman of the Meliá Hotels International Group, on Monday, February 3, 2013 at the headquarters Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion in Rabat, signed a management contract for three new hotel units to be developed in the Med Saidia resort.
On Monday 03 February 2014, a working meeting was held at Novec between the representative of the Mauritanian Ministry of Water and Sanitation, Mohamed Mahmoud Ahmed Zeidan, the Director of Hydrology and Dams at the said Ministry and a delegation from Novec headed by Mr Marzouki Zerouali Tawfiq, CEO of Novec.
At this meeting, Mr. Tawfiq Marzouki Zerouali, presented Novec’s areas of activity and its achievements.
