Since its creation, Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion has accompanied the growth, evolution and socio-economic changes of the Kingdom of Morocco.
The diversity and nature of our business lines place us at the heart of societal issues related to the citizen, the environment, ethics and economic development. CDG's action is both additional and structuring, allowing it to create responsible added value and to contribute to providing relevant solutions to the Kingdom's various economic and social issues.
Sustainable development is thus a structuring component of the strategy adopted by the CDG Group, which has made a strong commitment over the long term. Today, we are implementing numerous actions and strategic initiatives, allowing us to act as responsible and exemplary actors.
Aware of the importance of the challenges and impacts of sustainable development on our society, the Group as a whole now ensures that the sustainable, responsible and equitable aspect is systematically taken into account, whatever the nature of its intervention (expert, investor or co-financer).
Emphasising its numerous achievements in this area, the Group is confirming its sustainable commitment and is now structuring its actions through a Group Sustainable Development Charter, outlining a new harmonised working framework and consolidating the guidelines and principles to be promoted within the various sectors served by the Group's entities.
The principles set out in the charter form the mutual basis of the Group's Sustainable Development platform and are structured as follows:
The Sustainable Development Charter marks the CDG Group's firm commitment to adopting a dynamic of the progressive implementation of its Sustainable Development system, which is based in particular on 12 of the 17 SDGs* set by the UN as part of the 2030 Agenda and 3 of the 7 strategic axes of the NSDS**.
