SCR new representative office in Ivory Coast
The Central Reinsurance Company (Société Centrale de Réassurance – SCR) a subsidiary of CDG Group, has put the seal on its development in West Africa by opening its first representative office in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, from which the company expects to extend itself over countries in the region.
The new opening is a part of SCR’s overseas development strategy that aims firstly to sustain the development of projects in the region in the insurance and reinsurance industry, as well as to support the expansion of Moroccan insurance companies in Africa.
This new strategy has been developed from the maturing of its business model and the status now acquired by SCR through being the first conventional reinsurer in Africa.
Opening the Abidjan office is the first step in the expansion of SCR abroad.
