RFG: A new image for the Royal Fez Golf Club

After undertaking extensive work lasting nearly 2 years, Royal Fez Golf Club reopened on July 19 to the delight of its members, the inhabitants of the imperial city and many tourists.

Inaugurated by His Late Majesty King Hassan II in 1993, the Royal Fez Golf Club has been revamped to offer members and visitors a friendly atmosphere and moments of lasting enjoyment. Golf Course (Par 72, 6542 meters) has undergone a real makeover. Indeed, all playing surfaces have been completely replanted. Furthermore, the drainage system has been totally renovated and computerized in order to meet international standards. Thus, the course can be handled seamlessly in a ‘smart’ well-balanced manner so as to make it a green carpet worthy of the greatest clubs in the Kingdom. The renovation of the club does not stop there. The old clubhouse, considered dilapidated, was completely removed to make way for a new building, as modern and functional as you could wish. Thus the restaurant, bar, pro shop, locker rooms and administration offices overlook an open terrace on the course. In addition, tennis courts and mini-football and a large pool complement the facilities of the club.
