CDG: Signature of a framework cooperation agreement

On the sidelines of the meeting of the Club of Long-Term Investors "LTIC" held in Madrid, February 14, 2014, M. Escolano Roman, President of the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO) and Mr. Anas Alami Houir, CEO of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion (CDG), signed a framework agreement for cooperation between the two institutions.

This partnership sets up a framework for collaboration between the two institutions in the areas of financing, co-financing and guaranteeing of joint investment projects, particularly for SMEs - SMIs and infrastructure projects.

On this occasion, the two CEOs agreed to a permanent exchange of information and expertise; thus emphasizing the interest of ICO and CDG in the development of economic relations between the Kingdoms of Morocco and Spain.

Founded in 1971, "ICO" is a public financial institution, attached to the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness through the Secretariat of State for the Economy and Support for Enterprise. Its mission is to promote economic activities that contribute to the growth and development of the country and improve the distribution of national wealth.
