CDG : Maintenance of ISO 9001:2008 certification for consignment business
The Banking Services and Consignments Department of the Savings Management Branch completed its first monitoring audit of consignments on 25 September, 2014 and thereby confirmed the maintenance of its second certification ISO 9001 version 2008.
Following the audit, the international certification body (Veritas Certification Bureau) announced that the Quality Management System of the consignment department complies with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008, and all the requirements covered by the certification.
Maintaining the QMS consignments certification demonstrates the ongoing commitment and the enthusiasm of all employees of the consignments department, the support and control department of the PGE as well as teams from the General Fund and internal partners involved in this system to ensure continuous improvement of services and procedures in the search for excellence.
The follow-up audit concluded with the absence of any non-conformity major or minor and highlighted the strong points, such as :
- Firm commitment of the Directorate General to the quality approach.
- Perfect professionalism.
- Approach of closeness and listening.
- Dynamics of improvement.
All the teams that participated in the audit are to be commended for their firm commitment to achieving this goal.
