SDS : First participation of Morocco in the World Corporate Golf Challenge
In partnership with the Moroccan National Tourist Board, the Saidia Development Company (Société de Développement de Saidia -SDS) hosted a qualifying stage of the "World Corporate Golf Challenge" world tournament, from 12 to 14 June 2015 at the SaïdiaMed Golf course. This is the first time that Morocco has participated in this world golfing championship.
The WCGC Morocco trials were intended for executives and decision makers of large Moroccan or foreign companies operating in Morocco. Every listed company was given the opportunity to participate in this qualifying stage that was used to appoint the team that will be responsible for defending the national colors in the final scheduled for next July in Cascais, Portugal.
It should be noted that this event allows destination Morocco to be visible at the level of qualifying competitions in both Spain and Portugal, thanks to excellent media coverage and the presence of a number of organizers of golfing events interested in Morocco.
The aim of this participation is to host, in the coming years, the final of the WCGC in Morocco.
