Moulay Yacoub Thermal resort

The development project of Moulay Yacoub Thermal Resort represents a total investment of about 400 million dirhams. It is being conducted in partnership with international Vichy Spa and Moulay Yacoub aims to be placed as a leading destination and world-class spa product.

The project has two phases:

  • The first relates to the construction of two Moroccan-Turkish hammams and new traditional baths: 3 thermal pools and a complex of 45 tubs. These new buildings meet international standards in this area. Work, lasting 18 months, would bring about the opening of the spa complex in April 2015.
  • The second concerns the upgrading of a new spa and integration of the latest developments in the market and hydrotherapy spas. Hotel "Vichy" 4 *, with a hundred rooms will also be built and will be directly linked to the spa. This phase will be completed by 2017.

Saïdia Med seaside resort

The Saidia Med resort enjoys an excellent air service through two international airports (Oujda and Nador) located within 30 minutes, and a three-hour flight from major European cities. In addition, it has a good access road and highway, which directly link Saidia Med to the main cities of the Kingdom.

In addition, Saidia Med has several internationally recognized natural advantages:

  • A particularly mild climate throughout the year
  • 6 km of sandy beach
  • Crystal clear and shallow waters
  • A region with a rich and diverse hinterland

Marina Saidia Med’s ambition is to become in the short-term an international sailing destination. This marina now offers more than 800 moorings for different types of boats, as well as technical maintenance services and restaurants. The marina is currently undergoing sustained development.

Golf Saidia Med also participates in the development of the destination through an 18-hole course offering good conditions for playing golf throughout the year. This is the first course of the two planned for the resort. With a length of 6160 m, it was opened in 2009 and extends over a total area of 45 hectares. Within the Golf, a newly opened clubhouse provides a comfortable environment and facilities.

Haliopolis fishing park

Haliopolis is part of a competitive cluster dedicated to seafood and agro-industry and aims to mobilize collaboration around innovative joint projects.

Stretching over 150 hectares divided into 4 sections, the fisheries park is based on two key strengths:

  • Quality of infrastructure;
  • Integration on-site of the entire chain, including processing, supporting industries, services for businesses and individuals, research and development, training, logistics and service sector activity.

The Berkane Agrocluster is a regional platform for consolidation, marketing, processing and distribution of agricultural products.

Jorf Lasfar Industrial Park

Located near the largest ore port in Africa, Jorf Lasfar is the first and only park in Morocco dedicated to industries of a major category. It should strengthen the economic potential of the region, providing industrial infrastructure of international standing.

The project falls within the framework of territorial variation of the Emergence Program, and targeted and proactive industrial strategy of Morocco for 2015.

Located 17 kilometers south of the city of El Jadida, in the commune of Moulay Abdellah, it is at the crossroads of three major regions: Casablanca, Marrakech and Agadir, which gives it many advantages, including proximity:

  • The Port of Jorf Lasfar, which is the leading ore port and the largest in Africa

Located near the Casablanca Mohammed V airport, P 2I MidParc targets mainly the sectors of aeronautics, space, electronics and other industries with high technological value. The arrival in 2012 of the major multinational Bombardier has considerably strengthened the position of MidParc as a destination of reference for aerospace investment.

Atlantic free zone

Atlantic Free Zone is one of the first integrated latest generation industrial developments, where big names in the sector have settled, such as the U.S.’s Lear and the Japanese Fujikura.

The Atlantic Free Zone project is part of the National Pact for Industrial Emergence for the construction of a strong industrial sector. Its main objective is to formalize what Morocco can offer and to capture investment, both domestic and foreign, while concentrating the efforts and investments of the State in a global business such as the automotive industry.

Selouane Industrial Park

Extending over 44 hectares, the park is intended to accommodate an industrial zone dedicated to SMEs / SMIs, a commercial area and a mixed commercial zone (training, research and development, business incubator).

Oujda Technopole / Oujda Med Est

Through its free zone Cleantech, Oujda Technocluster aims to establish the Oriental region as an industrial hub in the field of sustainable development, both nationally and regionally.

The project represents the convergence of several national sectoral strategies:

  • The Medest strategy is the territorial development of the Emergence and Rawaj programs in the Oriental, which aims at strengthening the industrial and services in this region.
  • The National Strategy related to renewable energies through the flagship technology component named Cleantech.
