MEDZ : Haliopolis has a presence at the 3rd Salon Halieutis (Halieutis Show)
Parc Haliopolis SA, a subsidiary of MEDZ, took part in the 3rd Halieutis Show, from 18 to 22 February 2015 in Agadir.
The Halieutis Show is a meeting-place for the fisheries sector that is both national and international in scope and has participation by the different areas within sea fishing, fish farming and other fishing-related industries. It was an opportunity for Parc Haliopolis, leader in the development and management of business parks in the region, to present its flagship project in the fisheries sector through an exhibition and show.
Haliopolis Park is the first business park in Morocco dedicated to adding value to fisheries products and seafood. It covers 150 ha, including 111 ha of assignable land, and is divided into 4 tranches:
- Tranche 1 : 56 assignable hectares.
- Tranche 2 : 23 assignable hectares.
- Tranche 3 : 12 assignable hectares.
- Tranche 4 : 20 assignable hectares.
Tranches 1 and 2 are currently being marketed. So far, 97 lots have been sold for the purposes of the following business activities:
- Fish and seafood processing.
- Packing industries (canning, plastic crates and so forth).
- Industrial refrigeration, industrial electrical, etc.
- Services, automotive fuelling, showrooms for vehicles, industrial refrigeration equipment, and logistics).
The Halieutis Show also provided an opportunity for the Haliopolis Park teams to meet with fisheries sector professionals and establish promising contacts.
