SAZ : Conclusion of partnership agreements with ADEREE and SIE
As part of the process for developing the energy supply strategy for Zenata Eco-City, the Société d’Aménagement Zenata (Zenata Development Corporation, SAZ) has signed partnership agreements with the Agence Nationale pour le Développement des Energies Renouvelables et de l’Efficacité Energétique (National Agency for the Development of Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Efficiency, ADEREE) and Société d’Investissements Energétiques (Energy Investment Company, SIE).
The partnership agreement between SAZ and ADEREE was signed on 13 January 2015 at ADEREE headquarters. This partnership is primarily for strategic support on energy efficiency and for technical assistance and legislative analysis on sources of renewable energy.
The partnership agreement between SAZ and SIE was signed on 13 February 2015 at SAZ headquarters. The objective of the agreement is the implementation of energy solutions for Zenata Eco-City based on renewable sources of energy and energy efficiency, in particular in terms of energy supply (solar, thermal), street lighting, wastes, and a study on installing a mains gas supply network.
Both ADEREE and SIE are collaborating with SAZ in the context of the review process for the Zenata Eco-City Reference Guidelines that are currently being developed by SAZ.
