Mission
The Caisse Nationale de Retraites et d'Assurances (CNRA) is a public institution with legal personality and financial autonomy. Managed by the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion through the Savings and Providence business line, it operates under State guarantee.
In operational terms, the CNRA is responsible for:
- Management of occupational injury and disability pensions;
- The implementation of insurance guarantees, operating according to defined architectures (individual capitalization, immediate annuity products and deferred annuity products);
- The management on behalf of third parties (the State or others) of (1) pension schemes created by specific legislation and (2) any other scheme or benefit under special agreements;
- Management of social programs on behalf of the State.
